Isn’t It Time For You To Take Care Of You?

Do you find yourself taking care of everyone else in your life before you? Do you feel guilty when you do something for yourself? Would you like to re-set your life’s direction but you’re not sure where to start? Now there’s a way to do that, and all it takes is a few minutes a day for 30 days.

Introducing Time to Take Care of You: 30-Day Challenge.

I’d like to invite you to do something really radical…to take care of you.

Every day for 30 days, starting November 1st. What does “take care of you” mean? Whatever you want it to mean. More exercise, a better diet, quiet time with coffee, a walk in the woods. Maybe rethinking your job or your business or where your career is going. You decide. This online, self-directed program takes only a few minutes a day but the impact can be truly powerful. Could this be the right time to care of you?  Time to Take Care of You: 30-Day Challenge is a unique opportunity for you to pause, step back and rethink where you are and where you are going. As we emerge from this period of remote work, home schooling and caring for others, aren’t you ready to take care of you? To take that first step, click on the image below.

Why is self-care so important?

You can’t give to others what you don’t have yourself. Self-care encourages you to establish a healthy relationship with yourself and maintain it, day by day. Then you can transmit these good feelings to others.

Like many people, you might think that self-care is selfish or self-absorbed, but it’s really the opposite. When you pay attention to your own well-being, to your own happiness and fulfillment, you’re not just focusing on your needs alone. You’re re-balancing, re-energizing yourself so that you can be the best version of yourself for the people around you, explains Perimeter Healthcare. As an added bonus, you’ll find that those around you will also benefit from the positive energy, increased joy and genuine gratitude you exhibit.

Did you know that engaging in a self-care routine has been clinically proven to:
  • reduce or eliminate anxiety and depression
  • reduce stress
  • improve concentration
  • boost your immune system
  • minimize frustration and anger
  • improve productivity
  • increase happiness
  • improve energy

Here’s how the Challenge works:

The program is set up like a game with sections for different things to think about and act on. You earn points for each action you take, and there are PRIZES!! These actions take only 3-5 minutes a day and consist of:

  • Daily Inspiration: A simple but powerful quote or thought to start your day off on the right track.
  • Daily Intention: Steps you will take to take care of you that day.
  • Coaching Tips: Short videos from me containing things to think about as you practice taking care of you.
  • TED Talks: Powerful videos from exceptional speakers.
  • Gratitude Corner: A place for you to list things you’re grateful for.
  • Wall of Wins: An issue you conquered, a friend you contacted, a task you completed…whatever is meaningful to you.

And here’s why it works:

This program is designed in a very user-friendly, time-efficient way so that busy people can practice self-care techniques that bring about positive results. Time to Take Care of You: 30-Day Challenge is a self-paced app utilizing what we know from the neurosciences, positive psychology and our need to belong and join in with others, to be part of a community.

We have designed the program so that everyone taking part in it begins at the same time. You are part of the Challenge community but you move along at your own pace. The program is easy to follow, adds inspiration and thoughtful guidance to every day, and supports you as you discover those things that make you smile and feel joy. At the end of each daily session, you can express your gratitude, which builds your sense of well-being and happiness.
